Justin Timberlake: Tunnel Vision

There was one video that caused a lot of controversy this week and it belonged to the one and only Mr Justin Timberlake.

The video in question was for his song, ‘Tunnel Vision’, and possibly one of my top favourites from his latest album, “The 20/20 Experience”.

I received a text message from a friend (Thanks Ed!) last Thursday with the message “http://www.justintimberlake.com/“, and I knew that I had to get online immediately.

What I found was… well, the above video. Press play. 😉

My first three thoughts? Racy. Naughty. And this is so not suitable for the corporate office.

But I kept watching anyway haha.

A few hours after watching it, I received another text advising that the video had been taken off YouTube and I was not at all surprised. But according to my research, the video is back online now after a YouTube representative issued the following statement:

“While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age restrictions.”

No matter what the visuals for this song represents, ‘Tunnel Vision’ is still a hit.

“A crowded room anywhere, a million people around, all I see is you
And that everything just disappears, disappears, disappears, disappears
Yeah a million people in a crowded room
But my camera lenses only been set to zoom
And it all becomes so clear, becomes so clear, becomes so clear

I got that tunnel vision for you.”

You know what’s also a hit? JT’s beard. It just works for him, don’t you think? If you need more convincing, check this out.
