American Express Openair Cinemas is returning to the University of Sydney from tonight up until December 20.
This year there are 22 screenings, many including DJs and live music. Bring your dog along as your date and they’ll provide free canine couches and doggy treats!
In a bid to champion food waste prevention, American Express Openair Cinemas is teaming up with OzHarvest to present Soul Sundays, a Sunday session of food sampling, trivia, music and games. A $3 donation from each ticket purchased will provide meals to those in need.
Highlights this Summer include “Bad Moms 2”, “Murder on the Orient Express” and the hilarious “Girls Trip”. Classics getting a throwback screening include “Dirty Dancing”, and Christmas favourite “Love Actually”.
Food comes courtesy of Salt Meats Cheese, including their signature Truffle Pecorino Pasta and pizza. World Master Pizza Making Champion and Australia’s Got Talent star Youssef Touati from Salt Meats Cheese, will be teaching guests how to toss dough like a pro.
The dedicated cocktail bar will serving Frosé, Aperol Spritzes, 4Pines craft beer and Giesen Wine as well ice cream and popcorn. Melbourne Martini cocktails in a jar will also be available.
Tickets start from $13 and American Express Cardholders can expect sweet discounts. Doors open at 6pm and movies begin at sunset.
