Event Review: CARBON 2014 // Part One

So when I’ve reviewed CARBON in the past, I’ve often broken each day and/or night into a separate post.

But this year I’m going to try and flip the switch a little bit.

That is, skip the overload of words (as hard as it as a lover of words) and try and break it down into a review that will engage you and disappoint you that you didn’t attend, but also leave you wanting to purchase an early-bird ticket for next year’s event.

2014 CARBON Festival

Kicking off at the end of the month on 29-30 March is one of my favourite annual events, hosted by the awesome team over at Melbourne’s ACCLAIM magazine.

This year’s CARBON festival will take place at the Storey Hall Auditorium at RMIT University.

So here is Part One of Day One.

Happy Reading! 🙂

Hennessy Australia: Futura Lecture (Melbourne)

I often think that I book my trips to Melbourne at the wrong times.

Next month, graffiti artist Futura will be heading back down under to launch his collaboration with Hennessy, giving a one-off lecture at RMIT and later appearing at an instore signing and live painting at Someday.

If you’re in Melbourne, I highly recommend you attend this event. Did i mention it’s also FREE?! Damn.
