Fresh from his recent debut at Byron Bay’s ‘Splendour In The Grass’ music festival, English Grime and Hip Hop artist Stormzy treated Sydneysiders to two sold out sideshows at Newtown’s famous Enmore Theatre. We were lucky enough to attend and review his 2nd Sydney show on Tuesday 25th July 2017.

We were first introduced to NAO a couple years ago when one of our favourite producers, IAMNOBODI, shared a link to one of her songs. Ever since then we’ve been patiently waiting for the chance to see her perform live and last night that came to fruition when she played in Sydney to a sold-out crowd. This year’s line-up for Splendour in the Grass was major with headliners The Strokes, The Cure, The Avalanches and James Blake performing at the three-day festival in Byron Bay. We didn’t manage to grab any tickets to said festival, but we were lucky enough to be invited to a couple of sideshows.
One of the biggest names we could have hoped for was James Blake.

The 5 to 9 Life team has already had the exciting opportunities of reviewing more than a handful of live gigs in 2016 thanks to the local and international acts that have been in town for such events as Falls Festival, Twilight at Taronga and Laneway Festival.
